SmartKids Zone uses Code.org® which is a platform dedicated to expanding access to computer science in schools and increasing participation by women and underrepresented minorities. The vision is that every student in every school would have the opportunity to learn computer science, just like biology, chemistry or algebra. Code.org provides the leading curriculum for K-12 computer science in the largest school districts in the United States and Code.org also organizes the annual Hour of Code campaign which has engaged 15% of all students in the world. Through this platform students would learn computing, and would be properly intructed and guided while they learn.

C

Students would be exposed to more challenging environments were they would build mobile and desktop applications, after understanding the fundamentals of programming through exposure to code.org and csfirst lerarning platforms.
